Limited commemorative series made on the San Carlos Apache Reservation. A piece of history and time of the Apacheria in 1883 reproduced into fine collector pieces 1/3 of an ounce Sterling Silver. These coins were distributed by the United States Military, to the Apache in labor for food projects during the early period of settlement in San Carlos. Many stories are told of these coins but they are rarely seen and almost never obtainable until now.
